AarProduction Documentation

Overview

AarProduction is used to record daily production, safety, inspection, and sign-off information on site. These guides are written for end users and focus on what each screen is for, what information needs to be entered, and how to complete records correctly.

The app is organised into a few main areas:

  • Home and Inbox for finding work and checking progress.
  • Production Forms for day-to-day production records.
  • Friday Pack Forms for safety, inspection, and compliance records.
  • Exports for generating the Friday Pack PDF.

Using The App

The side navigation groups the app into:

  • Home
  • Inbox
  • Production Forms
  • Friday Pack Forms
  • Exports
  • Other Apps

This matches the live navigation users see in the shell.

General Guidance

  • Select the correct project before filling in any form.
  • Check the date before submitting. Many records are meant to reflect the day the work actually happened.
  • Complete all required signatures before submitting.
  • Use comments fields to capture anything unusual, unclear, or needing follow-up.
  • If a record is not ready to finish, use the Inbox to return to it later if that workflow is available for that form.

How Form Inputs Work

Many forms use the same input patterns throughout the app.

Searchable Select Fields

Project, operative, hose, and similar drop-down fields are searchable.

Type a search term into these fields first. This filters the list and makes the correct option much easier to find.

To use them:

  • tap into the field
  • start typing a search term
  • wait for the list to narrow down
  • choose the correct item from the filtered results

If you do not type anything, long lists can be harder to use. Typing part of the project number, operative name, or hose ID will usually find the correct result faster.

Date And Time Fields

  • Date fields should match the day the work or check took place.
  • Time fields should be entered carefully, especially where start and end times are used to calculate or explain activity.

Add Item Buttons

Some forms allow more than one item, person, pile, hose, or entry.

When you see Add Item, use it to create another section of the form. Each added section should be completed fully before submitting.

Checkboxes

Checkboxes are used for simple yes or no checks such as whether equipment is in working order. Tick them only when the condition shown on screen is correct.

Signatures

Signature boxes must be completed on forms that require sign-off. Make sure the correct person signs in the correct place before submitting.
